Gammel is committed to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity and security of any personal information about our users. This Privacy Policy explains how we protect personal information provided through Gammel and its Service (the "Service") via its App and website, Gammel.app.

"Personal information" for purposes of this Policy means information that identifies you, such as your name, address, phone number, fax number or email address.

We regularly re-evaluate our privacy and security policies and adapt them as necessary to deal with new challenges.

WE LIMIT THE COLLECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

To avoid doubt, you do not need to enter any credentials into the App, Gammel stores data locally on your device and Apple will sync this to your iCloud account if you are signed in to your device with an Apple ID.

Access to your content and any other personal information you provide is strictly restricted so that developers of the App cannot access the same - the App simply uses this information itself for the purposes of providing the Services.

CRASH REPORTS

Gammel may collect Crash Reports in respect of the App in the following ways:

Via Apple: provided that you have previously approved such collection via iOS. This data is processed by Apple in accordance with their privacy policy.
Via Google Crashlytics: only if you explicitly opt in within the App. If you opt in, crash report data (such as device state, stack traces and device type) is sent to Google LLC ("Google") via the Firebase Crashlytics service. This data is anonymous and does not include any personal information that could identify you. You may opt out at any time via the App settings, and no Crashlytics data will be collected unless you have opted in.

ANALYTICS

Gammel offers optional, anonymous usage analytics powered by Google Analytics for Firebase (FirebaseAnalyticsCore). This feature is entirely opt-in. When you first use the App, you will be asked whether you wish to allow anonymous analytics data collection. If you do not opt in, no analytics data is collected.

If you opt in, the App collects anonymous usage data such as screen views, feature usage and session duration. This data does not include advertising identifiers and cannot be used to personally identify you. The data is processed by Google LLC in accordance with their privacy policy. You may change your preference at any time via the App settings.

LEGAL BASIS FOR DATA COLLECTION (EU/EEA USERS)

If you are located in the European Union or European Economic Area, the legal basis for the collection of analytics and crash report data described above is your explicit consent, which you provide by opting in within the App. You may withdraw your consent at any time by changing your preferences in the App settings. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.

THIRD-PARTY DATA PROCESSORS

Where you have opted in to analytics or Crashlytics, your anonymous data is processed by Google LLC. Google processes this data on our behalf in accordance with their privacy policies. No personal information is shared with Google or any other third party.

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION TO PROTECT OUR RIGHTS OR IF REQUIRED BY LAW

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Gammel reserves the right (and you authorise Gammel) to share or disclose your personal information when Gammel determines, in its sole discretion, that the disclosure of such information is necessary or appropriate:

To enforce our rights against you or in connection with a breach by you of this Privacy and Security Policy or the Gammel Terms of Use;
To prevent prohibited or illegal activities; or
When required by any applicable law, rule regulation, subpoena or other legal process.

YOU CAN TRANSPORT OR DELETE YOUR DATA

Your data is yours. You can remove it anytime you want. You can simply do this via the App upon which such data will be deleted from your iCloud account. If you have opted in to analytics or crash reporting, you may opt out at any time via the App settings. Previously collected anonymous data cannot be attributed to you and therefore cannot be individually deleted, but no further data will be collected once you opt out.

YOUR DATA IS SECURE

All personal data is stored and secured within the Apple ecosystem and therefore you should have confidence in its transfer and storage - as Apple employs its state of the art security and protection in respect of the same.

Any anonymous analytics or crash data transmitted to Google is sent securely and processed in accordance with Google's security practices.

WE POST UPDATES ON OUR WEBSITE WHENEVER THERE IS A CHANGE TO THIS POLICY

We update this Privacy Policy periodically. The date last revised appears at the top of the Policy. Changes take effect immediately upon posting.
